Old Times
Kind of funny, I'm still very young and I want to talk about "old times", lol "When I was young and beautiful..." lol no, no I'm still young and I hope the whole life is a front of me :) But what I'm trying to say by old times is a time with my friends long time or not long time ago. Our lives have been changing; there are new marriages, relationships, divorces, babies etc. and life isn't the same. We don't have time to hang out or go out together. Now, there are jobs x 10 ( especially in this economy I would think ) , more new big responsibilities, careers, diapers. And when from time to time, we are able to get together or simply talk on the phone ( that we used to - hours every day ) I feel that a good, old times come back. Today, I was talking with my best friend for over two hours; it was every unusual since she has a baby and when we were on the phone I said that I feel that old time is come back. However, I know that is life and that are the changes that are supposed to be and actually we are waiting on them ( not maybe divorce ) but it can happen in life as well. So, my point today is that we should enjoy each minute with our loves and be happy for moments that we have because some day we could miss it.

ReplyDeleteI understand what you are saying. I feel kind of old sometimes too.
Layla love reading your blogs, you always make me laugh so bad in a good way. At the same time i could always realate to you. What i mean is that i as well talk about freind family and school, and the past where i use to have fun and i miss the most right now. Its hard to try to let go but we have to do it and like you say, enjoyed the present and the future that at one point are going to be the past and in a couple of years we are still going to talk about what we miss the most.
